    Ice Investigators vs. NEO searches?

What distinguishes a search and catalog program like Ice Investigators from a program to find near earth objects? Is the technology radically different? What are the challenges to each type of research?

    Thank you in advance,

I just got this from Pamela (starstryder): The techniques used are the same, but since asteroids (NEOs) are much brighter and moving much faster through space, they need smaller telescopes and image spacing that is much closer together.

    More to follow.
