I am so old, when I look at the police officers now they look like school kids. (And I complain about it)
I am so old I remember when everything was in black and white!

I'm not old. Firsts signs of getting older are there however. Celebrities used to be mostly older than me. Now suddenly they're mostly younger than me. Not the same celebrities of course, that would be physically impossible. Or Botox. Anyway. I'm still in this "I'm younger than the celebrities" mindset. Yesterday the media started complaining about Lilo getting a (legal) boyfriend who's nearly 10 years younger than her. Then it struck me that I'm older than Lilo. I mean, if there are cougars younger than you, you're getting old.

In have no idea who that is and frankly I'm a little proud of that fact.

I can remember reading the Agatha Christie classic
Ten Little So & Sos with the original offensive
title. It became Indians but that was still bad!
So now, And then there were none.

I still have a paperback list from school listing
    titles with the first version.

I did that in my twenties.

I'm so old I've gotten used to going to doctors younger than me. The first few times were a shock.

Barack Obama is the first president to be younger than me. That's got to be an ageing landmark.

I remember Jon Pertwee regenerating into Tom Baker.

When there were only three TV channels (though BBC Two was often such a poor signal it was unwatchable).

When baler twine was still made from natural fibre (one for you country folk!).

And never mind doctors and police, now even the politicians are starting to look young! (heh thinking alike Chuck).

Most celebrities are younger than me. In fact, I don't even know who most of them are. And I don't care. A sure sign of aging...

I predate the G.I.Joe doll, er, action figure. I had one for awhile. His autopsy was not a pretty sight.

When I was born the Earth was thought to be maybe 2 billion years old by the established science leaders of the day and now they say maybe 4.5 billion. I can't recall where I was during those lost 2.5 billion years.

When I was a kid it was taken for granted that the Asteroid Belt was a destroyed planet and Saturn's Rings were a destroyed moon.

I remember the overwhelming success of Michael Jackson's "Thriller." An older cousin and her roommate played that album (vinyl LP!) over and over. I liked it too.
