So, have you done the fire noodles challenge yet? (Recently had it... "Spicy, yes, but what was all the fuss about?")

    Hmmmmm.

In addition to the aforementioned salsa, I have today had Tobasco in my V8 juice, a couple of pepperoncini, and some Tapatio on my Mexican leftovers. I'm a bit sorry.

An early Valentine’s Day dinner, since it falls on a Wednesday this year...and my birthday is next weekend.

Roasted Filet Mignon, shrimp, potatoes, and a green salad with Brie, apples, cranberries, and pecans. Wine: 2006 JanKris Cabernet Sauvignon.

I must admit that I have never heard of Horseradish Cheddar Cheese before. And, I am somewhat unsure if I like the sound of it - even though I like both horseradish & sharp cheddar cheese.

The local Sri Lankan community put on a fund-raising food fair at a nearby park. We walked down and got some Chicken Biryani & Ambula (basically rice with a variety of vegetables both
cooked & pickled and some curried meat or fish) . We also had some cutlets - but made with minced beef http://www.whimsicalchef.com/2015/01...snack-cutlets/

Breakfast was continental style: some Brie, roast beef, a soft boiled egg, dried figs poached in white wine, and toast.
