What I'd like to know is what the dosage of X-ray was to all those bystanders! I know X-rays don't travel far in air but most X-ray sources blue collar types get exposed to can't set 400 pounds of paper on fire either.
It took three tries before they tuned it so the paper wouldn't smoke as it came out the other end.
