Last night I was observing at Old Tavern, VA, about 10 miles north of Warrenton. I saw a dazzling fireball low in the northern sky which traversed 45 degrees or so right to left in a few seconds while appearing to move away from me. Like a dummy I neglected to record the time or the beginning and end positions relative to the stars. I would estimate very roughly that the track was over west-central Maryland or southern Pennsylvania. It was sometime near 10 PM EDT. Any other reports of sightings would be most welcome.
