I have often thought the "UFO" phenomenon is massively interesting, but more from a sociological or "group psychology" angle, rather than extraterrestrial or extradimensional beings/craft. If you look at the (mostly anecdotal) early reports of strange flying craft, they are almost always at the edge of the current technology, sometimes bleeding-edge. In the 19th century you have what seem to be airships or dirigibles, in the 1920s and 1930s there are scattered reports of "craft" close to the ground with rivets visible and loud whooshing sounds. In the 1950s and 1960s you get saucers and aerodynamic cigars and "rocket" shapes, but with no visible rivets or sounds. In the 1980s the ships were often triangular and stealthy. I don't know what to make of "tic-tacs", though.

That is what Carl Jung said... The UFOs represent, in Jung's phrase, "a modern myth."

Here https://video.search.yahoo.com/searc...12&action=view is an interesting take on Delongs' "Disclosure". Just a CIA psy op to ready the public for the next great "threat" to justify increased DOD spending on space weapon systems?
