    Philosophical question here

So I recently got a question stuck in my head... Ok, imagine this: If we go to mars and then settle there, make a city on the surface of mars. What would that city be called??
What would the first actual city on mars be called?

Let me know what u think.

But wouldn't it most likely be something logical like for example Republic City or something like New Haven. A more modern name

I don't think it's a philosophical question. It's just speculation. The answer I think is that it depends very much on who goes there. First, they would probably choose a word from the language spoken by the organizers, so if a Chinese presence is first, they will presumably use a Chinese word, whereas if it's from India, we might expect a Hindi word, though of course people use lots of different words. If the leader of the expedition is from Florida, they might call it New Florida. I think that Mars City might be a good choice.
    As above, so below

She is the daughter of Ares and Aphrodite and probably the most healthy loved themed goddess of the bunch. They had 8 children, and the majority have something do with love. 4 have wings. Adrestia is kind of interesting too. She often portrayed with Phobos and Deimos as a war goddess. She is the embodiment of revolt and just retribution, but tempered with a balance of good and evil. There is no escaping her, for good or bad. She is like Nemesis

We could go with science fiction related ones:

Bradbury (author of The Martian Chronicles)
    Marsopolis
Marsport (both from various Heinlein stories)
Underhill (from the novel Red Mars)
At night the stars put on a show for free (Carole King)

In the Futurama universe, Mars was settled by people from New New York who were tired of the overcrowding, and named their city New New New York.
