Perhaps a synopsis of your talk?

Do you explore its continued cultural relevance of AI in the two decades since its time frame?

Or do you follow the lives and careers of the actors?

    Very different.

The first part deals with the historical set up for the film and how Clarke and Kubrick met. The second part deals with the philosophical, mythic and spiritual aspects of the film. The final part deals with technology and how it relates to the film, with a focus on AI.

One of the designs of the early Discovery would fit right in with the Drax spacestation from Moonraker--as would the Orion III clipper. Those all look more Space: 2100.

On the other hand, Moonraker shuttles and Space Station V fit together better, visually.
