Lake Toba
After the ferry disaster on the 18 of June, search and rescue teams discover that Lake Toba is more than three times deeper than they thought is was.
From 500 meters deep, to deeper than 1500 meters. (Where they think the ferry went down.)
New sonar has just arrived that should be good for 2000 meter depths.
Mt question now is;
Does this change estimates as to the caldera's structural integrity?
Because I now have a nightmare scenario flowing through my head where an earthquake of any sort causes Lake Toba's caldera to collapse in on itself.
