    Cell vs smartphone

How does the complexity of a top-of-the-line smartphone compare to a cell, like a protozoan or bacterium?

Well, a cell can make a bunch of proteins, so it beats the smartphone. But the smartphone can write and rewrite lots of data, so it beats the cell.

    They’re not really comparable.

How many organelles are there in a cell, compared to how many components or systems in a smartphone?
How many molecules in a cell, compared to how may transistors/resistors/capacitors/etc. in a smartphone?
