    San Francisco Sea Serpent

Anyone ever see this? Seems pretty incredible to me... Seems like this blog has been in existence quite a long time...

That site is a bit hard to digest. Are there any better photos or videos than the few grainy stills and old damaged photos overhere?

Because that makes most Nessy sightings IMAX quality...

I would guess some are delusional believers, some are con artists, and maybe a few are both.

And there are the capitalists, not complaining about that, who want to start their own niche cottage industry and sell licensed photos and stuffed dolls of the local sea serpent/ tree wookie/ werewolf/ etc.
There is something fascinating about science. One gets such wholesale returns of conjecture out of such a trifling investment of fact.

That could be an analogy to the UFO stuff at Roswell, New Mexico. I have heard that merchants there love it because it attracts tourists who spend money there and help the local economy.

I saw it first, in my life, regarding the JFK conspiracy theories. So many books, so many books... it's a true cottage industry.

With JFK, I can see why folks might have wondered if more folks were involved.

Cormorants, Anhingas and the like are probably seen as sea serpents
