    Think about how many U.S. spacecraft tried to get to the Moon before Surveyor 1 landed. LOTS. Israel HIT the Moon, which is really saying something.

    Indeed. And, as was pointed out on Twitter, they were able to organize and run the whole mission for less than the cost of an America’s Cup team.
