    Phil gets a mention

    Washington Post article echoed on NZ's primary news website.

    The quote's not great; not a fact. Interesting item overall, but not "news" to most here!

    Astronomer Phil Plait dissected the hoax hypothesis in a 2001 blog post that holds up as the definitive debunking. "Their evidence is actually as tenuous as the vacuum of space itself," Plait wrote.

    Obviously a paid NASA shill! He probably even claims rockets can propel in a vacuum!
