Got a music service a few days ago, and today I'm listening to Bachman Turner Overdrive's greatest hits.

Why? Damn, I was afraid someone was going to ask that...

...I like to type to the beat?...yeah, that's right.

Johnny's Band...off the new Deep Purple CD.

Turns out it's one of my favorite songs, ever.

Deep Purple was my first audio cassette. Maybe later I will check out the new stuff. I see that the album is available on the music subscription of my choice. I am kind of addicted to the idea you can stream almost anything.

Fair warning...this is probably the most "pop" album Purple has ever made...but I still like it.

...and if you're expecting Blackmore, and lord, you'll be disappointed.

Some purists can't get past Blackmore not being in Purple...even though Steve Morse has been the "fiddle player" since 1994.
