Just a few degrees above a shiver. 40, some sun, some haze, 15 kt breeze. Spring, where is thy love? Winter, where is thy sting?

Another sunny day and here in New Brunswick we are dodging a storm hitting Nova Scotia.

Cold and windy again here today with a low of 25F expected tonite and 30F tomorrow night. Long range forecast from several sources all say no below freezing temps after this cold snap passes (for 30 days). I doubt that but it would be great, can now continue to prep the garden for planting.

    Sunny ... a few high wispy clouds ... a bit breezy ... unseasonably warm at 88 F / 31 C.

As yet no coronal mass ejections or major flares but I plan to stay up all night just in case. Other than that it's little cool here.

No, since it "officially" happened yesterday.

Here, "unsettled" has been the best description of the weather for months. Today it's been variously sunny, windy, raining; and every possible combination of those.

A far more seasonable 73 F / 23 C [91 F this time of year (yesterday) is NUTS]. Winds picking up, gusting to 30 mph. Sand dust in the air. Laundry is officially canceled. We have an old-fashioned 4-line clothesline. It's so dry here, with such nice weather usually; I said no an indoor drier years ago. Why waste electricity?

Had to delay laundry because the cold water froze.

We have sand and dust blowing around, so I'm on Tatooine.

    I'd rather be on Naboo.

    This weekend's forecast
    https://stormtrack.org/community/thr...s-ok-tx.29597/

"Potential is there for some decent severe weather including tornadoes. The 500 hPa trough comes in right behind the friday trough so we have a short wavelength. This will potentially limit the available moisture. But with that said the friday system doesn't clear the Gulf and leaves the moisture on the coast. So confidence is medium that moisture will at least make it to north TX. Depending on surface temps and forcing I wonder if we will have any capping issues. Too far out to tell..."

Maybe I'm getting old, (maybe?,ha) but there was a time I didn't fear the weather.
Very nice here today and for the coming days, 50's/70's, normal/avg temps for a change, perfect spring so far, though we got a recent freeze sucker punch after a warm Feb thaw.

I remember every time it rained or snowed it did not mean it was storm.
Today sunny and and suppose to get above freezing, just perfect for loading the track after the auction.

It's been one of those "If you don't like the weather, wait five minutes" type of days. Sun, rain, wind, calm, warm, chilly, never for more than about at minutes at a time.
