A Good rain just swept through, no wind but that makes it one total inch in 24 hours, a perfect soaking for the gardens which needed it now. Rest of the week is expected to be spring-like with a shower late week. A Nice 60/78F range.

Last evening and night was so nice, spent some time outdoors reading Spocks World and about 11 pm went out in the field and just looked up for half an hour. Saw Cygnus, just rising and Vega in the east and Leo was going in the south west direction, while the frogs were chirping.
ETA got and east and west mixed up.

Sunny, wind, and a bit chilly. My plans today unless something else turns up, involves a lawn chair, a book and a couple of magazines, and some snacks. Already done the mother's day stuff.

Well our warm streak has ended for the time being, a more moderate highs around 70-75F for the upcoming week with at least one night in the upper 40's. More rain today so we might end up with 1.5 inches with a dry & cool week ahead.

Just got hit by a Severe Thunderstorm here in Central Indiana. Wind gusts up to 60 mph. My breathing isn't doing so great.

Cloudy, don't know when it will rain or not. Went out to do some work in the cold frame to take out the dead plants with other plants and started to rain.

A 93F and high humidity day today, had to take a 11am-2pm indoor break from the garden. Same expected tomorrow, it's summer in May. A cool down to the mid 70's predicted for Tues/Weds but back to the 90's next weekend.

Rain, finally. Good news for the new lawn and my water bill. I hope it continues the entire night with gentle rain, such that the soil is deeply soaked.

Y'all in Texas and OK and Kansas, watch the skies and be careful. Storms supposed to be bad now.

Another 90+ day, did yard work needed in shady areas. A storm front just started forming over us but just a brief shower here as it heads east to hit the Va tidewater/bay areas.
Ditto Roger, you folks in mid country take care, mother nature has it in for you lately with repeating floods and twisters.

Last fall we put up a storage shed that the walls and roof are sheets of plastic held to the structure by straps and clamps. There was so much water on one side of the roof that the strap was pulled out of the point on structure it was connected. Easily fixed.

A very pleasant day here in upper 70'sF, sweet breeze going on, another perfect hammock day is expected tomorrow too, but Hot over the weekend, ground moisture still good but could use a shot of rain (1" please) to taper that coming heat for the gardens. Haven't had to water much at all other than for young seedlings getting started. Counting our blessings, I feel for you folks out there in the plains/midwest areas.
