Seriously though, the list of famous B-stars is a short one. I haven't a clue.

Yes the star Bellatrix plus the star Betelguese, The referance to the two are the
resion for the post. I know the star's have differnt meaning to differnt people, for
direction of the inlightment of themself, the meaning for life or finding life.

Round my parts, Orion's about the easiest constellation to spot this time of year. While the "belt" is the part that jumps out to me, the shoulders/armpits are very easilly identifiable too. I suppose that's one reason they're so "popular".

I think more people are "fans of" Polaris and Sirius though; the former because everyone, even those not inclined to astronomy, thinks that they can identify it (though I've met many people who are wrong :-/); and the later because of it's apparent brightness.

Do you have any kind of star guide or atlas? It sure would make observing easier and more enjoyable.
