In today's (4-14-02) funnies there is good lunar astronomy in the comic strip "Jump Start" by Robb Armstrong.

There are several cells with two little kids discussing how many American flags they can count(50 in one day). The POV of the last cell is from the Lunar surface with an American flag on the left side of the cell and the Earth in the background with talk balloon coming out of the Earth for one of the kids to say "I'm tellin' ya...they're everywhere!"

Given the topic of this section of the BABB; A simple but beautiful thing. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Why Robb put white stripes on the outside (http://www.unitedmedia.com/comics/jumpstart/archive/jumpstart-20020414.html), I'm not sure. Must be some sort of convention.
