That is pretty cool.

But; about those foreground images... I'm sure they were spliced in somehow. I can't imagine moving a camera that slowly for the time lapse. The waterfall was probably the most noticeable to me. It looked like one of those 3 layer animation movements.

Absolutely stunning. And such a simple setup. When I've developed my skills a bit (read: heaps) more I'd love to try that sort of thing out. I don't have a volcano nearby, but there's an exotic rock up the road.
