Various theories have been proposed for the apparent excess of 511 kev gamma rays in the galaxy, indicating annihilations between positrons (antimatter) and electrons(matter). The authors propose that Bow Shock Pulsar Wind Nebulae excite normal electrons to high energy, in which state they cascade off electron /positron pairs. Further, they show that typically a pulsars birth kick velocity, usually runs it out of it's supernova remnant within 10,000 - 100,000 years....leaving the pairs free to escape into the interstellar medium, where their annihilations are seen in Pamela and Fermi data.
