Is anybody else getting that or is it just me?

I'm not crashing -- I use Firefox with an ad-blocker, though

Haven't had crashing. I do know they've made some recent changes on UT.

BD, what browser (and version) are you using? Any add-ons? What OS?

Whatever browser comes with Windows 7, Mr. Rijn.

I always use the Inprivate browsing when I go on-line, but that's about it, other than stuff my brother put on the LAN so he can telecommute with Ames Research Center securely on the occasions he needs to.

Just about anything is better for your IP than surfing with Internet Explorer....

On mine, it runs real slow and comaplains about an inefficient script, gives me the option to stop it or continue.
Firefox.

Okay, would you care to elaborate? :)

Firefox, Chrome, or Opera are common alternatives.

And in this case 'alternative' doesn't mean worse but better (a lot!) :)

Okay, my main issue is I know how to tweak the security on IE so as to have a relatively benign net surfing experience, even in not so benign places, but not the other browsers. I do have Firefox on board, I kept removing Chrome because it kept installing itself in other stuff, which torques me off.

I use firefox, and (at least the version i have) security settings are under Extra->Options->Security (& Privacy).
