At last I have located a newspaper saving I
have been looking for. From 1983, an article
suggesting Geminga is a binary system of two
collapsed stars giving off gravitational waves
that are actually shaking the Sun. The period
of the pair exactly matches the observed solar
resonance. Seemed far fetched at the time.

But the current Wikipeadia does not mention
this! Makes you wonder if comtemporary "Gee Whizz"
stories from science are quietly dropped every
decade. I wanted this article to see if it was
the item than indicated that Geminga was really
in Orion but it was not. Never mind, I still have
a google print out from some years ago that has
the two positions of this object.

So, is Geminga still two objects shoving the
Sun about? Quite a feat at 500 lightyears.

Heh, thanks. I cannot read it on my ancient
browser but I can make out the correct name
of the author of the article from 27 years
ago, Walgate.
