I was looking at the members list and stumbled on a strangeness, apparently sometimes the last visit is recorded as happening on 1970-01-01 at 00:00:00 GMT (Unix time 0).

It's easy to replicate, just sort by last visit.

Mine is listed as 31-December-1969, 06:00 PM (no doubt that's due to different time zone settings).

I use time travel.

More seriously, I use invisible mode, and that stops tracking of last visit time.

I never log in. I just hack the board.

More fun that way. ;)

It's come up before. 1970-01-01:0:00:00 GMT is, as you say, Henrik, how unix/linux machines interpret zero in a date/time field, before your time zone settings are taken into account (as in Van Rijn's case).

The board apparently won't display accurate log-in while you're in invisible mode. (I'm pretty sure it tracks it, however.)

I suppose if one has never actually logged in since the merger, you'd see this too.

We had a few people whose join date was 0 Unix epoch for some reason - presumably there was a hiccup during the merger/conversion.

You use my mode again and I'm going to sue.

Your mode? I've been invisibly posting here since 1969 (well, if you go by my last visit date).
