I saw that the FAA has given approval to Burt Rutan and his group for a private rocket launch. I was just wondering, how many people here would be willing to go up on a private rocket. I know I would find space travel fascinating. I would go up in a private rocket in the future. How many others out there?

Personally; I think Space and spaceflight won't be developed until private hands get out there. Given the opportunity; I'd be doin' the Horshack as well. (Waves hand wildly) "OO! OO! OO! OO!! OO!" :D

I'll go. Bonus points - I weigh 270 lbs (122 Kg). I qualify as two passengers for the X-prize requirement of three people.

Methinks I'll await the ‘evolution’ of more 'elegant' reaction craft... But then I have the time... YAWN!!!

TTFN and wishing y'all a *great* holiday weekend!!! http://www.badastronomy.com/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif
