In the Monty Python film, Search For The Holy Grail, what is the line that the witch says after she is weighed and if found to weigh as much as a duck?

I have seen it several times and it sounds mumbled and garbled but it must be some sort of a punch line.

You expect a structured joke in a Python movie?
That's silly, very, very silly.

But if you insist - you didn't remeber it quite right:
Sir Bedevere (Jones): What makes you think she's a witch?
Peasant 3 (Cleese): Well, she turned me into a newt!
Sir Bedevere: A newt?
Peasant 3: [meekly after a long pause] ... I got better.
Crowd (Omnes): [shouts] Burn her anyway!

The script (http://www.sacred-texts.com/neu/mphg/mphg.htm)

Note: this is a transcript of the movie produced by an anonymous fan. Obviously the original is copyrighted and anyone attempting to exploit this file commercially without permission of Monty Python is a looney...--sacred-texts editor
Anyway, here is what that site has:

BEDEMIR: We shall use my larger scales!
[yelling]
BEDEMIR: Right, remove the supports!
[whop]
[creak]
CROWD: A witch! A witch!
WITCH: It's a fair cop.
CROWD: Burn her! Burn! [yelling]

Paul Beardsley had it right (and this all matches my memory).

And now for something completely different ...

Neut (n). Colloquial Dutch for small drink, shot, strong alcoholic beverage. Cheers!

There's always the Internet Movie Database, imdb.com (http://imdb.com), it has a "quotes" section for many movies.

Curious thing about the word "newt": it arises from a misdivision of the older word "(an) ewte." The word "eft" which is sometimes used to describe some species of newts, is also a descendant of "ewte."

Another example of a word arising from misdivision is "apron" (from "a napron").

It probably works better if you're already familiar with the characters.

A newt?
Perhaps a Gnu that likes tea.

Wouldn't that be a (h)elk?

What does "It's a fair cop." mean?
Someone had to explain what a "pram" is to me too as in "I have to push the pram-a-lot".

Would you rather be turned into a newt, or bitten by a mse? A poll is in order!

Unfortunately, those responsible for such polls have been sacked.

I don't know the literal translation, but a "fair cop" is basically a fair charge, in other words, yeah cop, you got me.

A pram is a baby carriage.

"Moose bites can be pretty nasty you know..."

Besides, all I can think of is Newt Gringrich when I hear this now...what a good idea for some enterprising techie, on You Tube!!!

"She turned me into a Newt, I got better you know..."

Obligatory Buffy-Reference:

Willow (looking around the magic shop): Ooh. Are these real newt eyes?
Giles: No, too...rich for my blood, I'm afraid. No, these are salamander eyes, it's the...cataracts which give them their newt-like appearance. They're really equally effective, though; it's...just a matter of overcoming snobberies.
Xander: I'm telling you, Giles. You gotta set up a blind taste test and prove once and for all that generic amphibian eyeballs are just as good.
Willow: I don't know. If you ask me, the newt name still means something.
