Was going to post the same thing. I just caught an article on the Telegraph (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/film/film-news/8093913/Charlie-Chaplin-time-traveller-spotted-in-old-film.html)about this.

The first thing that came to my mind is that the roaming charges must be fantastically high! Not to mention coverage would be non-existant.

If you look closely t about the 4:45 mark and can stop-start the video with your mouse repeatedly, there eventually appears a round circular object sticking out from the top of the hand resembling a horn. Could it be nothing more than an ear horn people used prior to electronics and hearing aides? Just my observation.:think:

The fact that she passes an elephant suggests she is making a trunk call.
