Fraser. I like the timing of the landing of the secret mini-shuttle....reminds me of the sign with directions to Lost Mountain....follow Lost River back to Lost Lake. Row across, and Lost Mountain is right there. pete

This has been a secret mission, so I assume details are sketchy for the present. I read somewhere on the forum boards that to be in orbit for nine months requires an orbital speed of 17,200 mph ... more or less depending on orbital height and shape I would guess. Assuming 17,200 mph orbital speed, would the X-37B pull g forces throughout its trip, or only during the periods of acceleration and orbital turns.

Fraser, if this post should be redirected to another please direct me. I picked up on your comment about the X-37B to segue into.

I met Dr. Pamela Gay At the Star Party before the DragonCon opening. She gave a great talk. For some reason I thought that you were going to miss the DC this year and didn't look for you in Atlanta but didn't think you would be there. Hope to meet you one day.
