I have just a nerd's glimmer of anxiety about this kind of article. The moon always causes stresses in the earth that help trigger shifts of the earth's crust. There is no statistical evidence of a correlation between super-tidel proximity and seismic activity. We do know that daming a river or draining a lake can trigger seismic activities along a nearby fault. So what we can conclude for now, is that the stresses caused by the moon don't trigger events in a predictable sequence.
