This is pretty cool: You can track the Amazon ranking of the book at Amazonscan.com (http://1.amazonscan.com/scan/details.php?asin=0471409766). It lets you look at the stats of the book as it rises and falls in the ranks.

This is also a graph of the BA's income. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_razz.gif
BTW, did anyone else here buy the book from somewhere other than Amazon? I got mine from a regular book shop. I had to order it because it had only just come out, but I notice that quite a few book shops now stock it on their shelves in the Astronomy section. It's usually with that book by Chaikin, Full Moon and, strangely, Dark Moon. I havn't found it in silly sections yet, with the books by Mary Bennett about dreams and stuff like that, so that's encouraging. I might check to see if our Libraries have it yet.
What is Amazon anyway?

I went to Borders. I too had to order it. The book had only been out less than a week.
Want to know how silly these people are? The put James Randi's books with somethings called "Metaphysics". Mostly its stuff about Tarot and astrology.

That's one funky y-axis. If you're curious (I was), the explanation is this...
"The lower the number, the higher the sales for that particular title. " (a ranking with #1 at the top)

Well, it is tracking ranking, after all.
The book was hovering at about 300 yesterday for some time. The Art Bell show is to thank for that.
