I always read about the Trapezium, 4 giant stars at the heart of M42 that light it up. But in all the photos I've seen, it's never been clear to me which 4 stars are the Trapezium. Can they be seen with a small telescope?
In the above photo, would they be part of the brilliant glow in the center?
