With Technology improving at a very fast rate, what do you guys think we could expect in Telescope Technology 30 years from now? The really big ground based ones, Space Telescopes, or even Amateur Telescopes.

I expect adaptive optics will have been adapted by amateurs by then.

What do you mean by "real time?" That's a relative term; if you observe a supernova happening 20,000 lightyears away you're witnessing something that happened 20,000 years ago.

Large baseline interferometry as a matter of routine for all (most) wavelengths, both ground based and in space. Large clusters of relatively small and inexpensive scopes. The goal: round-the-clock full sky observation in a very wide frequency range.
