I plan to dress nice, over-indulge and talk to women who look like trouble.

I'm sure there's at least one out there that needs me to complicate their life.

Gotta start with a haircut though...

For some reason, I wished we had an "PG" section.
Happy birthday BigD.

Happy birthday. For some reason I had assumed that the birthday would be very unusual, like the 29th Feb - that would kind of fit the profile.

Man, I missed something. The last BigDon birthday thread I remember, you had just made the Big 5-0. Did I forget or did you miscount? (Here's you're chance.)

Anyhoo, Happy Birthday!

Keep going. You are only a few years behind me, you'll soon catch up.

But remember what happened in Sin City.

If he just turned 51 year, this'll be the 52nd lap.

The Xth lap ends with the X years birthday.

I was born February 28, 1960. 6:03 AM according to the original certificate of live birth. And raining, according to my mother.

I'll let others decide where the error lies.

And yes, I still claim to remember President Kennedy's assasination. Though mainly because of seeing my father cry.

Geeeze, you're sooo ooooold! Err, I mean, happy b-day Don! At his rate, you'll be 104 by the time I'm 60! (Wait, that's how it works, right?)

Well, Don, if you had waited a day to be born, you'd just be entering puberty now.

Poor planning.

I dunno, I think that error is telling the truth.

Happy early birthday, Don! (This way, if I also miss the thread next year . . . .)

Except you're not that young, kid.

You're wrong. I've checked my math multiple times. 52 x 2 = 104. 30 x 2 = 60. It's infallible.

You're a couple of days and a year ahead of me, my friend - Happy Birthday!

Not uncommon. We human beings tend to remember significant emotional events, whether they're our own, or that of our parents, particularly when we're very young.

But...if someone was born say 2 months earlier than me, he already finished 1/6th of his first lap around the sun by the time I was born. Then how can we be on the same planet? I see a couple of explanations:
-there are 366 earths. One of them isn't very crowded.
-everyone is born on the same day. We miscount a lot.
-there are 366 suns. Global warming explained for you.

Which brings back memories of an Abbott and Costello bit about Lou liking a much younger girl.

Most of my humor comes from cartoons. Most cartoons . . . at least, the good 'ol ones . . . seem to have gotten their jokes from Abbott and Costello. So I guess I'm an Abbott and Costello fan by proxy, even though I've never actually seen any of the old shows.

You've never seen an Abbot and Costello movie?

In their day, those two were often used to gracefully end monster movie franchises that were pretty much beaten to death, plot-wise.

Think how useful that would be nowadays?

Happy birthday, BigDon!

Looks like we were born on the same day. I just came along nineteen years later. 10:01 in the morning, and during a blizzard, if my mother's memory is correct.
