View Full Version : How could a web/software developer be useful to you?

File me under people who would go back and dig deeper into physics and math courses if we had the chance. I've been the world of web and software development for the last 11 years, and I'm a little past the point of a career change (long version available if requested). Suffice to say, I'd like to be more involved in astronomy than chasing fuzzies at 1 a.m. on a Saturday, cursing my proximity to a big city.

So, after listening to a back episode of AstronomyCast, I was inspired to reach out and see what possibilities there are. I'm not looking for employment. Got it, love it. I just want to help out. I do a bit of everything (web, applications, database), and I can pick up anything I don't already know pretty quickly. Hopefully you can point me in the right direction... Googling around hasn't resulted in much.

kilgoretrout,

As this was not an astronomy or similar question, I've moved your thread from Q&A to OTB
