View Full Version : Million Crater Challenge page

A couple of things:

1. When you go to the Moon Mappers site, there's the link to "Get started" with the Million Crater Challenge; however, once you click that link, there is no link to anything on the crater challenge page. Shouldn't there be a link to "Simply Craters" or something?

2. I think it would be wicked awesome if you had the Moon getting "full" as we approach the 1 million crater mark from right to left, as the changing phase of the Moon would look (given that the picture of the Moon you are using looks like it would from the northern hemisphere).

Minor nits/suggestions, but thought I'd share them.

Yup, we've passed a million craters actually marked in the MoonMappers interface (false alarm from a month or two ago when the counter was aggregating all craters marked in Moon and Vesta interfaces). Thanks for all your hard work! We're still plugging along and have about 2/3 of the data we need for our first science goal. This blog post on the science, written Oct. 18, summarizes where we stand.
