I just want to know if there is any title change with the 3000th post. It's not that the rest of the threads aren't interesting because they are. I just have nothing to add that anyone would find particulary interesting. Quoting someone's post and just adding, "That's cool," just seems kind of dumb. I have to know what happens at 3000 posts. Do I learn the secret handshake? Do I get a discount card? Do I have to steal the JREF mascot before I am in? :D

Okay, never mind. Did my post count just roll back or am I dyslexic? I could have sworn it said 2999, not 2299. Now I feel really stupid...

And secret stuff do happen at the rollover, but they're secret, I'm afraid. Just make sure you're wearing old clothes, and you'll be fine.

Clothes? What is this a nanny state?

Unless, of course, you're into abrasions.

My forearms are still healing, one drawbacki in liking t-shirts the way I do.

Of course, once we're done _that_ part, it's all good.

I recall a very silly discussion on how to pronounce "kilopi". I think "kay-lop-ee" is the silliest.

Clearly "Raymond Luxury-Yacht" would be the silliest way to pronounce kilopi.

"Order of Raymond Luxury-Yacht"...

Yeah, I like it!

"Order of Raymond Luxury-Yacht"...

Hold on, that's not the name. See, it's spelled kilopi. How I pronounced it would be spelled "Raymond Luxury-Yacht" but, phonetically, it's "[throht][wob-ler] [mang-grohv]". It's all very complicated.

Yes, it is. Which is why we insist that Members remain fully clothed while posting.

And we do check.

Every time I see this thread, I feel flush with embarasment... well this page and now the knowledge that Cosmoquest checks to make sure you are clothed. :shifty:
It would be super if we could let this thread fall off the front page and disappear into obscurity and forget this whole incident.

Why'd you write that? Now I have to check the thread and bump it every so often. And it's nothing personal, it's part of the Order of Chocolate Cake secrets thing.

Since there is a clothing check, can I ask: "Would it be weird if I started wearing a cowboy hat?"

Yes, you may ask.

That depends. Are you wearing it on your head?

Because if you are, then yes, it's weird.

She'll be really embarrassed when we tell her how that's pronounced.

Kind of like the way it's spelled. (http://dictionary.reference.com/audio.html/lunaWAV/T01/T0196400).

That's not how it's spelled. It's spelled 'I-T-apostrphe-S'. Now write it out a hundred times so you'll remember.

Like these guys (http://www.pennlive.com/midstate/index.ssf/2010/02/suburban_philadelphia_school_s.html). Must enforce the dress code at all times!
