Hello all, here is a short time lapse video that I shot of our Winter Milky Way. Using the full size still images from a Nikon D4 DSLR I was able to create a 4K (4096x2304) time lapse sequence. 4K is four times the size of 1080p footage.

If you look closely at the beginning (around the 0:08 second mark) you can see the faint triangular glow of the Zodiacal Light. The Zodiacal light is one of my favorite things to photograph and I look forward to it every year.

My settings for the photos are:
Nikon D4 & 14-24mm @ 14mm, f2.8, ISO 3200, WB 4000K

thanks for looking and clear nights to all!!!

Hi Harles99, welcome to CQ.

So you know, we ask that members not embed videos in their posts (even though the software allows it), it is part of Rule 8 in our rules (http://cosmoquest.org/forum/showthread.php/32864-**-Rules-For-Posting-To-This-Board-**). Thanks,
