I like this poll.

Many times at work someone will say something like, "I've got a question for you" and then before they can answer the question, I'll spew out a number like 42 and say "Here's an answer for you"

Sounds like me. When somebody says, "I have a question for you," I usually say, "I have an answer for you. Let's see if they match."

(And, of course, the correct response to "Can I ask you a question?" is "That was a question." It's funny how many people come back with "Okay, can I ask you another question?" allowing for the obvious "That was another question.")
