Going to have to go with the debunking side. I mean there's just no solid evidence of an inside plot, it's all circumstantial, to make Vader seem like the fall guy and give innocence to those rebels. And don't anyone try to bring up Ewoks and their tie in to the second Death Star's loss...if you've never been attacked by an Ewok, you can't understand how misleading their size really is.
