Actually people in the mediaeval period got to inventing new Roman numerals, and E was used for 250 at that time.

Now that you mention it, profloater may have, I just assumed he was using normal roman numeral conventions and ASCII coding. :)

Plead guilty of irony or something, alas I am old enough to have been forced into Latin at school but its useful in graveyards sometimes. :p
