Just been going through some free association searches of music on YouTube and noticed that some of the music will just have me snapping my finger without any conscious choice (Benny Goodman's Bach Goes to Town, lots of Gene Krupa stuff, Buddy Rich, and stuff)

What makes you snap your fingers without thinking?

The shortened title on the main page is "Music that makes you snap" and I immediately thought of the local ice-cream trucks, most Gershwin, jazz in general, and the various Latin-American-influenced band pieces by Americans (Danzon Cubano, El Salón México, etc.).

I was going to post the same thing about the title as Nowhere Man. It made me chuckle.

No music on earth, alas, can make me snap my fingers. I've never been able to learn how to do that!

Glenn Miller- In the Mood is another good one for snapping your fingers too.
