Opportunity is getting closer to the "Karatepe" exit route, we might be out of the crater at the end of the week.

Here (http://mer.rlproject.com/end_vic_4m.jpg) is a nice Themis image that shows Eagle Crater, Endurance Crater, and potential targets: the etched terrain, and Victoria Crater.

By the way, Victoria appears to have its own circular dune field, akin to the more spherical-looking dune fields in other craters, as questioned in this topic (http://www.badastronomy.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=10506). Victoria's dune field looks to be around twice the diameter of the whole Endurance Crater. Maybe with the right lighting, it could look like a golf ball, too.

Thanks, nice picture! I noticed that there are quite a few 'Eagle-sized' craters down the road to Victoria. Plenty of interesting stuff, as we will probably not make it to Victoria itself.
