Hi there! :D

Once again, I ask for your help! This time I am asking if anyone would know any galleries of pictures of probes like Galileo, Cassini, Voyager and the Pioneer probes.

I've searched google and havent found any satisfactory images with detail. Another friend said that it might depend on NASA being afraid of the information ending up in the wrong hands (like terrorists), but heck, I'm just an artist/graphic designer :D

You mean raw images (which are all in "b&w") or the nice ones, combined, processed, etc?

http://www.nineplanets.org/ may be a good starting point.

I try to imagine a terrorist plot where images taken by these probes are neccessary for planning...

This individual's site is a gallery of some spacecraft.

It seems like NASA mostly organizes by mission. Here, you can visit each mission site and often see images of the mission craft.

The photojournal gallery has a section on telescopes and spacecraft (but it seems dominated by MER):

Here's a JPL gallery of spacecraft.

Haha! Kucharek, to be honest with you, I have to admit I am in the same boat as you are. When that statement appeared, no one objected, so I thought I had missed something.

01101001, thanks, Ill have a look on those links =)

I was thinking of pictures similar to this (http://www.jpl.nasa.gov/solar_system/features/images/voyager_browse.jpg)
