I remember seeing a reconstruction of the Continent-Rodina by Ron Blakey that has most of the land-masses in a concentrated continent to the South; now it's possible for the Snowball-Earth theory to conclude that the reason there are glacial deposited rocks on every continent is that all the continents were located in the South and covered in ice.

If I am not mistaken it goes farther than that. Geologists have found evidence that the oceans froze over even in the tropics, perhaps more than once. After a while, volcanoes put enough greenhouse gases into the atmosphere to thaw things out.

Do you have a link for that evidence? I can always google it though...
