There were other differences between the orbiters other than the names painted on the side, were there not?

That's it...
First, I visit Florida and the sequester closed most of the space center, and now I find I saw the wrong shuttle? I want my money back for gas and hotels.

Interesting question though... Atlantis and Endeavor are different than the others, but I don't know what differences could be between them.

It's hard to say because the space shuttles were upgraded on an ongoing basis - Atlantis was built in the 1980-1984 timeframe, while Endeavour was built 1987-1990 with a number of innovations. But most of the innovations were added to the earlier shuttles eventually as well.
