Well, the teaser trailer leaked for Star Wars Rogue One (http://www.vulture.com/2015/04/heres-the-teaser-for-star-wars-rogue-one.html). It is very poor quality and extremely short.

Discuss.

No, not 8, except inasmuch as it will be the eighth film.

"Rogue One" is a stand-alone film (one of many planned, if I'm not mistaken). It is, as indicated, a prequel to Episode IV (the original "Star Wars").

The actual Episode VIII, a true sequel to this year's "The Force Awakens," will be out a year or so after "Rogue One".

Right, and Disney will not call it a sequel or prequel. They officially call it a spin-off.

Opps. This is getting rather complicated. :)

You think that's complicated, trying keeping up with The Avengers / Agents of SHIELD.

For whatever reason, I can remember comic books better than movies.

I meant the movies and the TV show.

With a title like Rogue One, I was hoping it would become a real "Wedge" issue.

It seems like Disney is really trying to get mileage out of the Franchise.
Just days after the confusion of Episode 7 vs Rogue One, there's already news about the sequel to Rogue One.
