Hi

A guy ,living in the south of France, took this picture of the moon two days ago :

The white spot on the left near the terminator is strange ,I think it could be Aristarchus but I not so sure when I compare it with other (better) pictures taken from Google image. Could it be a TLP ? That would be great !

That white spot IS Aristarchus.

You are right this IS Aristarchus , this picture is quite convincing.
