Has anyone ever heard of the Bloody Creek impact crater in Nova Scotia? Being in Nova Scotia my ears naturally perk up when there is an astronomy story related to my province. I knew of a crater because I happened to ask a geologist at my former workplace. CBC radio just had a story about it short while ago. Apparently it is quite rare as craters go. It is under water and thus somewhat difficult to study. It measures 1380 by 1150 ft. It is also known as the Bloody Creek Structure. It is also informally known as the Astrid Crater. Google it if you are curious.
