All,
Just thought you'ld like to know:

I was reading the BA's report from his trip to the fleshpots of Las Vegas, all in aid of international skepticism, of course. and his item about Penn & Teller. He didn't want to name their current TV show (WHAT can it be called? Oh, my!) but provided a link to the webpage. I went there, coz I'm a P&T fan, to find that:

"We at Showtime Online express our apologies; however, these pages are intended for access only from within the United States."

P&T must have weapons of magical destruction in their new act.

I think it's more likley them trying to conserve bandwidth to it's market base only.

Think of it as American isolationism creeping into a network that's all about remote access and communication across boarders.

There's nothing there, anyway. If you really want to see, just find a US based proxy server that doesn't require you to login.

Now, I know the name of their show. :o

Were you unable to get access to P&Tís website, or their show off of the Showtime website? The BA has two listed. I would think you could get into the Showtime one.

Don't feel bad, I can't understand him either. :-( Which is a shame, cause he seems to have some really interesting stuff to say. I've managed to translate a little bit here and there, though, so I guess maybe it's possible to pick some of it up.

Nah, HUb's not that hard to follow. Some of its phonetic, some of its pattern recognition you aquire with some experience. Some of it is 'elliptical' thinking.

What I'd really like to make heads or tails of is his moon/earthquake correlations. JS Princeton was the only one I ever saw post who seemed to understand that completely.

It's the script that Graham Chapman was carrying around in his head on October 4, 1989...

It's not that they're selling weapons.

It's that Penn has a long history, since Tom and his Ridge Runners opened the Department of Home Furnishings and Guaranteed Securities, of being detained at terminal gates. Airport guards have taken Penn into custody on a regular basis after scanners detect his razor-like wit. Each time Penn asked Teller to attest to his character, and as a result, they wound up taking the bus that's usually available at the front end of the terminal.

It's strange, that I never really noticed hubs posts until recently. Perhaps because I have a habit of just skipping over posts that look like they make no sense.

Have I posted this before?

I can't remember.

I just ignore HuB'. I mean, what's the point of intentionally making your thoughts impossible to read and then asking for people's opinions on them?
