Phil Plait is coming to the Northeast Astronomy Forum in April! I just checked the NEAF website, and I am very excited. I volunteer at it, and I'll probably be doing the sound for his speech. I can't wait to meet him.

First, thanks! I'm looking forward to it.

Second (everyone say it with me this time), there is a website attached to this bulletin board (http://www.badastronomy.com/info/calendar.html#neaf).

There is a website attached to this board. Shoot, a minute too late to say it with you.

You mean the Bulletin Board is named after a website?!? :o :o :o
*Andromeda ducks and runs away quickly before the BA can react*

Where exactly is this taking place?

Where exactly is this taking place?

Rockland County, it's 30 miles-ish north of NYC. We have telescopes and speakers (Phil) and lots of fun stuff. The astronomy club that I belong to (Rockland Astronomy Club) sponsers it, along with Sky and Tel. Its held in the field house at Rockland Community College. You should come if you can.

Oh! I forgot to mention there will be solar observing both days, weather permitting. A bunch of the guys (and girls) bring their best equipment, and the nice vendors set up their scopes, too.

Hmmm, that's about four hours from here, but it would be worth it! :D
