Hi, I have this kind of major problem in that I have a question on fourier analysis to do, but I wasn't at the lesson where we covered it. I've been googling for a while but most of what I'm getting is uni level stuff (not suprising really considering this topic isn't even on the syllabus I'm doing), and my browser can't display MathML, which causes problems.

So, anyway, the thing is that I have two waveforms made from two sine fuctions, they both share the same amplitude transform but different phase transforms - how would I go about trying to solve this? (I just want to know the method, not answers, although you couldn't give me any since I haven't said what the functions are :P ).

Cheers,
Zachary.

Try using the cosine and sine double angle formula. :)
